'Sa Hi Pra...' film running successfully: Rishab Shetty
Kannada film 'Sarkari Hiriya Prathamika Shale Kasaragodu, Ramanna Rai Koduge' is being successfully screened in different parts of the state, the film's director Rishab Shetty said.
Speaking to reporters on Saturday, he said the film is being screened in 150 theatres in the state. In the fourth week, it will be screened in 50 more theatres, he added.
Discussions are on to remake the film in Marathi and Hindi, he said.
“The film has highlighted the issue of mother tongue in a light humour. It is a movie which can be watched by a family,’ he said.
Shetty said, "Initially, there were no producers for the film. Many people had not shown interest stating that it was not a commercial film. As the shooting started, many people joined hands with us. A majority of the cast are newcomers. The film is successful due to teamwork."
Associate Producer Pramod Shetty said, "The people of Mangaluru have given a good response to the film.”
